We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to work with streaming IoT data using the Apache stack. The ideal candidate will have experience in applying machine learning techniques to data streams and will work closely with embedded systems and data teams.
Develop and maintain real-time data processing applications using Java, Apache stack, Redis.
Collaborate with embedded systems and data teams to integrate streaming IoT data.
Analyse data streams to develop and apply machine learning models.
Optimise application performance and scalability for real-time data processing.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, data processing, and system performance.
Implement and maintain data security and privacy protocols.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in data streaming and machine learning.
Strong experience in Java programming language.
Experience with Apache technologies such as Kafka, Flink, Spark, and Hadoop.
Knowledge of machine learning techniques and experience applying them to data streams.
Experience with embedded systems and integrating real-time data.
Familiarity with data security and privacy protocols.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
At least 3-5 years of experience in software development with a focus on data streaming and machine learning.
