Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Production Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting the manufacturing process, ensuring smooth handover of new products, and maintaining quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be adept at analysing issues, facilitating production, and supporting warranty and rework lines. The role will be primarily based at our production sites in Hampshire with remaining time spent in our state of the art development lab.

Salary

The salary range for this role is £30-36K, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Support the manufacturing process of IoT products, focusing on efficiency and quality.

Facilitate the smooth handover of new products from design to production.

Analyse and resolve production issues, implementing corrective actions and preventative measures.

Liaise with the product development team to ensure manufacturability of new designs.

Work collaboratively with all business areas to streamline work-flow and implement continuous improvement strategies within our production processes.

Support the warranty and rework line, ensuring quick resolution of issues and customer satisfaction.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Requirements

Experience in a production engineering environment, preferably in electronics or related industry.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve in a fast paced environment.

Familiarity with manufacturing processes and production equipment.

Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities, proficient in cross-functional collaboration.

Knowledge of quality assurance principles and lean manufacturing practices.

Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Skills

Experience in supporting warranty and rework operations.

Experience with Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
